Sam Hong and Roger Whang wanted to bring teriyaki bowls — one of the hottest trends in West Coast dining – to Montgomery. So they visited restaurants in Los Angeles and Seattle and took a few ideas from each.
Then they added a lot more. “We’re in the South, so we need some wings and cheesesteaks,” Hong said. The result is Teri & Grill. The place isn’t big, but the menu is exhaustive, from ice cream, to sandwiches, to Korean dishes.
